Charles E. Wilson, IIIChuck was born in Washington, D.C., in 1965, and was raised in Montgomery County. While in high school, he traveled the United States and England playing soccer. He attended Rockville High School and played on the school's first soccer State Championship Team. His college years were spent at The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, and he was graduated in 1987 with a degree in Political Science and a minor in History. Chuck completed law school at American University, Washington College of Law in 1990.
While attending law school, Chuck studied trial practice under the guidance of The Honorable John McAuliffe of the Maryland Court of Appeals and The Honorable Rosalyn Bell of the Maryland Court of Special Appeals. After graduating in 1990, Chuck clerked for The Honorable William Cave of the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Maryland.
Chuck is a member of several different Bar Associations and is active as a Court Mediator and Arbitrator in several jurisdictions. He previously served the Bar Association on the Ethics and Fee Dispute Committees. He has litigated hundreds of jury trials to verdict and has been named several times as one of Maryland and Washington D.C.'s Super Lawyers. He has concentrated his practice primarily in the areas of insurance defense, insurance coverage, personal injury and construction.
Chuck has been a Deacon of First Baptist Church of Frederick and was a manager for the Frederick County Emergency Cold Weather Shelter. He has traveled to Romania with The Smiles Foundation to work with abandoned children. His spare time is spent traveling, hiking and attending music concerts.
